We are looking forward to hunting with you
in Argentina. It is the best wing shooting
in the world! This will be an experience
of a lifetime for most of you who have not
been and a lot of fun for those who have
been before. Depending on your shooting skills,
you can shoot 1000 to 3000 birds per day.
Shooters International handles every aspect
of your hunt from airfare, to shotguns, to
shells, lodging, food and everything to make
your hunt an enjoyable experience. We like
to cover as much as we can in the trip fee.
This way you know what it's going to cost
you up front and you won't be pulling your
wallet out every five minutes. We can customize
any of our trips to what the client wants
to do.
BASIC OVERVIEW
- You can book a trip for as few as 2 or as
many as 14 hunters.
- The cost of the 3 day hunt (2 half days and
2 full days of shooting) is $1995.00. (Does
not include airfare.) We accept most credit
cards or personal checks.
- A $500.00 deposit is required at the time
of booking and you will be invoiced for the
remaining portion of the hunt 90 days prior
to leaving for Argentina. If you want to
stay longer, add $500 per day to the above
cost.
- Guns (Benelli and Berretta) are provided
by the lodge and are $50.00 per day rental.
Shells are $11.00 per box.
- Bird Boy fees are a minimum of $35.00 per
day. (You will pay these fees to your bird
boy at the end of the hunt in the field.)
- We always try to tip the cooks and lodge
staff about $75.00 to $100.00 per man as
they do a great job of making your trip more
enjoyable. (Give this tip to the head lodge
guide and he will take care of the rest.)
- Your gun rental and shell fees will be collected
at the end of the hunt by the lodge staff
and they will accept checks or cash. (No
credit cards unless arrangements are made
in advance and we can bill your card here
in the states.)
- You can bring your own guns, but we need
to know in advance to fill out the required
paperwork. There is a fee of $75.00 (fee
subject to change) per gun to enter the country
and some time required to get your guns through
customs.
- Please study your flights and make sure that
you arrive on time to the airport because
this is an overseas flight. (WE SUGGEST 2
HOURS BEFORE THE FLIGHT DEPARTS.) Also, a
passport is required for this trip. (YOU
WILL NOT BE ABLE TO BOARD WITHOUT YOUR PASSPORT.)
This is an overnight flight, so pack accordingly.
- When leaving Argentina, you will be required
to pay an $18.00 departure tax. It is good
to have this fee in exact change so you won't
end up with Argentina money for change.
- When you arrive in Cordoba, Argentina, you
will first go through customs , then on to
the baggage section to collect your bags,
in the bag section of the airport a baggage
handler will know you are with a hunting
party and will most of the time identify
himself to you, if not your guides will be
waiting for you as soon as you depart the
concourse. They will be looking for you and
will have your parties name.
- Argentina is south of the equator, so the
seasons are reversed. In other words… just
the opposite of the USA. In winter in Argentina
the weather can be cold and very comfortable
all in the same day. It does not rain much,
but be prepared just in case. A jacket, a
pair of long johns, and your hunting clothes
are all you need. In the summer months the
range of temperatures are from 75 to 90 degrees,
so shorts are fine. The dress for dinner
can be the same, although most wear pants/jeans
and a shirt, nothing fancy.
- There is plenty of good wine/beer to drink,
but if you would like your common beverage
you may need to bring it with you. There
is a duty free shop in Santiago where you
can get your liquor.
- Remember you can not run to the store and
pick up anything like you can do here. So
if you need it, bring it. Also, pack a change
of clothes in your carry on because we will
go straight to the field the first day from
the airplane before going to the lodge.
